All in all it was very good value for money, considering prices in Penruddock. Elegant staff, magnificent breakfast, efficient service. I loved looking at cathedral from the window of my double room. They made my stay luxurious...

Everything was really good and loved my stay there. The staff did all they can for a peaceful stay. This good solid hotel had a business setting. Huge restaurant served British specialities. Carbonated drinks at roof top bar, outstanding service.

It had not bad views.

This hotel was interesting place for exploring Penruddock, liked it. Private bathroom with all essentials. Besides, we parked the car on site.

we really loved herdwick from the moment we entered. the lovely atmosphere when you walk in. the host upon arrival was outstanding.

We truly enjoyed location and staff - just excellent. The king room we were given had a TV set and a writing desk. Breakfast had a great selection of very good food and drinks.

Disappointing aspect was very small bathroom.

Meals in hotel were alright. We totally recommend as we appreciated herdwick inn. Location, an easy walk to all attractions. Lovely place for a city break in Penruddock.
